BUSINESS GOALS
The purpose was to support scalability and growth of the project over the last 20 years as the demands have evolved over the past years.

USER IMPACT
Increased visibility

The design process

My goal for this project was to minimize waste while engaging as much as the users as possible. The approach was to tackle the redesign in phases. As most of our user base was desktop, we designed to accomdate that first.

STEP 1 - UNDERSTANDING THE USERS
Realizing the main issue was the lack of visiblity and discoverablity. Created map of the journey.

STEP 2 - RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
We had a great support team from the CI specialists that informed decision making on a feature level based on what our competitors has.

STEP 3 - WIREFRAME AND DESIGN
Our user group ranged from various user types - users with only access to the main portal but also

STEP 4 - PROTOTYPING AND TESTING
We had a great tool called user testing.com to help us drive our design decisions. When happy with the results I then created the mobile variations

NEXT STEPS:

Moneris was looking to redesign their merchant portal by merging two different portals into one. In this process, we looks towards modernizing brand redesign, improving the navigation while making our platform responsive as this platform is very outdated.
